日本呼吸器学会発刊の英文誌Respiratory Investigation: Volume 54, Issue 5, p297-382、をオンラインジャーナルとしてご覧いただけますので目次をご紹介します。
是非、ご興味のある論文に目を通していただければ幸いです。

今回は3編のいずれも魅力的なReview articlesを掲載しております。
それぞれ、テーマはPirfenidoneのclinical trials and practiceに関するもの、DLco検査の臨床的意義に関するもの、Severe influenza infectionにおけるnovel therapeutic approachを問うものです。

Editorialは本誌の副編集委員長（Deputy Editor）西岡安彦先生が最近話題のCancer immunotherapyについて纏めていらっしゃいます。

さて、現在本誌は前編集委員長 貫和敏博先生のご尽力によりImpact Factor取得のためトムソン・ロイター社に申請中です。これから向後2年間にわたり観察期間に入り、雑誌自体のクオリティーや掲載された論文の引用度合い等々が調査される模様です。

会員の皆様におかれましては、英語論文の投稿先として是非とも本誌をお加えいただくとともに、掲載論文をできるだけ多く他誌への投稿の際にも引用していただきますようお願い申し上げます。

なお、Impact Factorの取得を第一の使命・課題と考えて、本誌では重要な科学的発見や臨床の実践に直接影響すると思われる内容を含んでいる場合を除いてCase Reportは原則掲載しないことに致しました。
編集委員会の全会一致で決定させていただきましたのでこの場を借りてお知らせします。

今後ともさらに充実した内容の雑誌を発刊してまいります。
